ABOUT US
Whether we realize it or not, we share the love of Jesus Christ every day. Church is a place to help you find where Jesus has already been in your life every day. You are a gift to the world, no matter who you are, what’s happened to you, and any choices you might have made. This is a place of rest and hope for you. Welcome.
We try to follow Jesus as we live together here at SUMC. We believe Jesus taught us many important things in both his words and actions. Through worship, study, and service, we meet Jesus where we are and try to follow his path more closely.
In our worship opportunities, studies, groups, youth, children, and mission outreach, we are here helping each other and looking for help from others to live the love of Jesus every day.
Living out our faith is a journey, one that takes a lifetime, but we hope you’ll join us as we work to answer that call on our lives. We aren’t perfect people, but we’re living our faith as we learn and grow. Sometimes that’s the best place to start, because we’ll find God in the midst of the mess.
Blessings,
Pastor Andrew Scott
